Planning My South East Asian Trip

“The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.” – Saint Augustine

I know its long overdue but time and budget constraints always get in the way. But I believe, I had to do this soon before embarking on my ultimate dream, a Euro backpacking trip. But, first things first, a Euro trip will definitely costs me a fortune, got to save for that later and besides a South East Asian trip is also part of my bucket list. So this early I'm starting to plan my SEA  itinerary for next year. Already scored big on a one way ticket to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam through Cebu Pacific's piso fare and was able to tagged along 2 of my best buds.  I will just have to worry later for our return tickets, hopefully I can get my hands on another piso fare from Cebupac if I'm that lucky ;)

Ideally, I would love to visit Vietnam - Cambodia - Laos - Myanmar  and then Thailand. Looking at this map, it would have been better if my entry point is Hanoi, Vietnam but then I already purchased the Ho Chi Minh tickets, so I have to work around that. I would probably need a 1 month vacation leave to cover this itinerary and more savings to work on. Well, if circumstances permit, I'll make a go with this. I just need to plan every details.

But I think I need to present a more workable itinerary in consideration of my travel buddies. I believe, a Vietnam - Cambodia and Thailand trip would be more acceptable for them. I'm already taking notes on budget accomodations, transportation details, tour offers, those not to missed tourist spots and restos and foods to try.

Feel free to drop me a line if you've got any recommendations. Would appreciate it ;)
